Super good news! During the week of November 14th through the 17th, our awesome College and Career Center Counselors will be presenting Juniors with valuable information about how to get into college. These presentations will occur during tutorial. To encourage you to participate, I am making attendance at ONE session an assignment. I already have the list of which tutorial you are required to attend--I have attached it to the forms and docs section of this website. Please bring in the exit ticket from the presentation to get your points. Plan accordingly.

So some of you didn't get the message about identifying persuasive appeals. I decided instead of punishing students who didn't, I would reward students who did with two extra credit points. I figured you needed a reward.
Any bored Junior looking to earn some extra participation points for helping me grade some freshmen posters after school today (Friday the 27th), contact me soon.
Hello! You will need to download the Satire Handout and the other satire document. Read the background information and pay special attention to the literary elements that you can analyze when writing about satire (first page). The Satire questions need to be answered and included in your AP Binder--don't wait to the last minute. I will be asking you to upload your answers to Turnitin.com when you turn in the Binder. The handout for the Satire Questions is printed twice (I've made copies to give to students in the past)--you do not have to complete the questions twice :)
The American Romanticism assignments are in the forms and docs section.
Assignments for Turnitin are posted. Sorry for the delay.
I found some issues on the Jefferson document--confusion over where paragraphs start as well as forgetting to underline the removed passages about slavery. These have been corrected and the documented re-uploaded. Please replace your old copy with the new, improved document--it will make answering questions easier. Thanks to everyone for the feedback so that this could be corrected.
If you have an emergency, please feel free to post on the Weebly that you would like me to check my email. If it is not an emergency, send an email--I will get to it tomorrow morning. And if it is NOT private and you want a response right away, then post it on the Weebly. Those are your only options. Seriously.
For some reason, students were not clear on the fact that their next précis is on Banneker. The Banneker letter is in the Forms and Docs section of this website.
There have been changes to the October calendar. Please download the updated version
